ABOUT US

My name is Gill Jones and I'm a Property Developer. However, in my spare time I'm passionate about Miniature Horses.  I show them and recently have started to breed.

I live near Mitford, Morpeth, Northumberland where I have around 4 acres of land and have the use of a couple more from my very kind neighbours.

I first started with Miniatures around 5 years ago after seeing Carol Cooper in the local paper where it gave her phone number.  I rang her, went over to her stud and that was all it took to have me hooked!  I bought 2 foals from Carol, I still have one, Hyacinth, who is one of our broodmares.

From these beginnings, I later purchased "Looking Glass Inspiration" who won nearly everything when he was shown.  As he's reached the top I retired him and he is now owned by Yvonne who keeps him as a pet in Nottingham.  I also purchased Mintrels Creme De La Creme, a part bred Falabella who also did very well when he was shown.
 

More recently I have purchased some American bred Miniature Horses with the addition of two colts from Jill Robinson (New Close Farm) and have since gotten very involved with showing them.
